Sarah Jessica Parker appeared to unexpectedly become embroiled in a Sex And The City feud last week following a savage dig from her former co-star Chris Noth.
The actress, who famously portrayed Carrie Bradshaw in the series, was honored with the Carol Burnett Award ahead of the star-studded Golden Globes - but it soon prompted a bizarre reaction from her one-time on-screen love interest.
Given that Noth once portrayed Mr Big, Carrie Bradshaw's on-and-off love interest for all six seasons of the HBO show, reprising the role for one episode of the revival And Just Like That, people were surprised by the shade thrown, as the two have historically seemed to be on good terms with one another.

Noth shared a snap of himself working out at the gym to Instagram, lifting two weights, with the caption: "F&@k new years - LETS GO!!!!"
But when one fan commented: "You mean f**k sjp & her award right? lol", Noth seemingly couldn't resist a dig at her success, replying: "Right."
It seems that following allegations of sexual assault against Noth in recent years, his relationship with Parker has noticeably cooled.

The 71-year-old actor faced scandal in 2021 when two anonymous women claimed he sexually assaulted them in two separate incidents in 2004 in Los Angeles and 2015 in New York City.
Noth was never charged and denied the claims as 'categorically false' at the time. However, he has not landed a major TV or film role since, while his character died in the premiere episode of And Just Like That. Additional scenes were also reportedly cut, according to Variety.
Releasing a statement at the time, Noth said: "The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false. These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago—no always means no—that is a line I did not cross. The encounters were consensual."
However, Parker has distanced herself from her on-screen lover, reportedly stopping contact with him since the allegations came to light.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Parker responded, "No," when asked if she'd been in contact with Noth since the accusations arose in December 2021.

In a joint statement following the allegations, Parker and her co-stars Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis said: "We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth.
"We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences. We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it."

That same year, however, Noth defended Parker amid reports of a behind-the-scenes feud with her former co-star Kim Cattrall (Samantha Jones).
He told the Guardian at the time: "I do know that I’m very close with SJ and [Cattrall’s] descriptions of her don’t even come close. I just don’t like to see anyone talking down about SJ because she’s a target and people can be nasty. I feel very protective of her and I was not happy about that. That’s all I’ll say about that."
