The famous realtor Sara Burack has been tragically found dead at the age of 40, and police said they've launch a manhunt for an alleged suspect on the run.

The successful estate agent who appeared on the reality Netflix series Million Dollar Beach House has reportedly died in a hit-and-run.

Burack reportedly died after being found unconscious on Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays, New York, on Thursday (June 19), according to News 12 Connecticut.

The 40-year-old was raced to Stony Brook University Hospital after she was found, but died later that day from her injuries.

Officers have since confirmed to local outlets that they are still hunting for the driver involved in the alleged hit-and-run. The authorities have not provided a description of the suspect or the vehicle at the current time.

The restaurant also told The Daily Mail it was shut at the time of the accident and that her body had been discovered by a cleaner from a hotel nearby.
