Kim Kardashian criticised after people saw what she bought children for Christmas

We all enjoy buying gifts for our loved ones at Christmas and it's always special to surprise someone.
If you're Kim Kardashian though, it could be a struggle to find what to buy those closest to you as there's probably not much they don't already have.
This dilemma might explain the thought process behind Kim's gifts for her four children this year, which have led to her receiving some major backlash on social media. Although, we're sure that's nothing new for the reality TV star.

The 45-year-old revealed that North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, seven, and Psalm, six, all received a puppy for Christmas in a social media post.
"Each kid got a puppy,” Kim, who shares her four children with ex-husband Kanye West, wrote, alongside clips of the Pomeranian puppies, who could be seen excitedly running around while settling into their new mansion.
She also shared close-up shots of each dog, including one sporting a red bow tie.
Fans weren't impressed by Kim's choice of gift for her kids and it wasn't long before it was being discussed on online platforms such as Reddit.
"They treat animals like monopoly. Like yeah they’re really cute but,” one person commented. Another said: "They are running out of things to buy since they have and get anything they want year round."
Others shared concern about the dogs, with someone adding: "Poor dogs. I hate how they treat animals as accessories or toys."
However, Kim had some fans fighting her corner. People pointed out that the Kardashian-West kids have grown up around dogs, and Kim also had dogs during her own childhood.
In a previous chat with K9 Magazine, the mum-of-four spoke about growing up with Dobermans, her father Robert's favourite breed. She also said: “We’ve always had dogs. I think dogs are great to be around and such a valuable part of the family.”
Kim wasn't the only Kardashian who was feeling overly generous this festive season. Her older sister Kourtney pulled out all of the stops for her stepdaughter Alabama Barker, who turned 20 on Christmas Eve.
To mark Alabama's big day, Kourtney gifted her a $20,000 (£14,800) pink Birkin bag, while her dad Travis Barker gave his daughter a $38,000 (£28,000) diamond Cartier Love bracelet.
Adding to the festive fun, the Kardashian clan held their annual OTT Christmas Eve party again this year, which was (unsurprisingly) nothing short of extravagant.
