Justin Bieber fuels fan concerns with cryptic post on 'transactional relationships'

Justin Bieber has been posting some rather strange things on social media recently

Justin Bieber has added more fuel to the fire of his followrs' concerns with a cryptic post about 'transactional relationships'.

Fans of the 'Baby' singer have been worried about the star's physical and mental health for quite some time now.

Not only has the father-of-one battled Ramsay Hunt syndrome, but he's also appeared out of sorts when snapped by paparazzi recently, prompting his reps to slam allegations that he was taking drugs as 'absolutely not true'.

Bieber has also reportedly been burdened by 'debts' after cancelling his 2023 world tour and, to top it off, he's posted some weird stuff on social media in recent weeks, from smoking a cigar to penning reflective notes alongside selfies where he's said things like he 'hates himself sometimes' and that he has 'always felt unworthy'.

Just last month, the 31-year-old referred to himself as an 'average flawed guy' to his 294 million Instagram followers, and that he's been 'asking God to help' him overcome his fears and insecurities.

Now, he's shared several more cryptic posts, this time about 'transactional relationships' and his hot takes on loyalty and love.

In his latest post, the two-time Grammy winner wrote: "Tired of transactional relationships.

"If I have to do something to be loved. That’s not love."

Bieber accompanied the caption with a pair of black and white selfies of himself.

Just days before, he also wrote in a post: "Telling other humans they deserve something is like raising someone else's kids."

He added: "Who are you to tell someone what someone should or shouldn't have. The audacity. That's not your place. God decides what we deserve."

Bieber then addressed loyalty in another post last week, saying that the word is a form of 'manipulative language'.

"Loyalty is a duty, it's an obligation," he claimed. "That's not free will. Love is not a duty. Love is a delight. Please stop using loyalty to keep people around you out of your own fear. It's hurting us.

"Mafia members use loyalty to keep people in their gangs. Let's not perpetuate this manipulative language. Love over loyalty forever."

In a third, he captioned a post of four more selfies saying that he is 'accepting that God forgives me this morning' and is working on forgiving 'myself and others today'.

The posts also come as Bieber delved further into his feelings in his Instagram stories about supposed expectations of him.

Accompanied with a picture of himself with his hand to his head, the star wrote: "This is how I feel after people keep telling me there's more work to do after I've given everything I have to give.

"I don't think any of us can handle hearing, ‘You just gotta try a little harder and you will be like me.’ It's not true.

"I listened to those fools who told me to work harder. And there's no end to trying to earn ur spot in this life because I tried. U have everything u need right now," he added, as per PEOPLE.

In another story and a sharp U-turn from Bieber's self-critical assessments, he wrote with no further context given: "I will never be like u. U have nothing that I want, ur face and life lookz undesirable."

These admissions have followed on from months of unusual appearances and concerns about whether he has relapsed or not, while fans have also speculated about the wellbeing of his marriage to Hailey Bieber after she attended the Met Gala without him.

The couple have been married for nearly seven years and welcomed their first son together in August 2024.
