Joan Collins' career has spanned decades, but people still can't believe how old she is
Dynasty star Joan Collins stunned fans and left them struggling to believe her age as she made an appearance at the 2024 Emmy Awards.
Collins, who is also known for her roles in Esther and the King and American Horror Story, was unmissable at the Emmys on Monday (15 January) as she arrived in a sparkling silver-blue gown covered in sequins.
She joined stars including Pedro Pascal, Aubrey Plaza and Jeremy Allen White on the red carpet, ready to celebrate all things television at the awards.

Collins' appearance comes 40 years after she herself was nominated at the Emmys for Outstanding Lead Actress in a drama series for her role in Dynasty, in which she starred from 1981-1989.
The actor's career has spanned decades, but fans struggled to comprehend exactly how old she is after seeing her dazzle the cameras on the red carpet and sparkle on stage.
Collins joined Empire actor Taraji P. Henson to present the award for Outstanding Limited or Anthology series, after which X was flooded with praise for Collins.
"Gotdamn!," one X user began. "Joan Collins was at rhe [sic] #Emmys looking stunning and pairing her with Taraji P. Henson is iconic."
"There’s a lot one could say about this year’s #Emmys, but I think three words say it all: DAME. JOAN. COLLINS," another wrote alongside a picture of the star.
Born in Paddington, London in 1933, Collins celebrated her 90th birthday last May.
Fans joked about she'd managed to retain her looks so well, with one commenting: "How does Joan Collins, at almost 91, look better than me, at almost 36?"
The actor discussed her youthful appearance in an interview with The Guardian in September, when she revealed she'd 'had nothing done' in the way of cosmetic surgery.
"I couldn’t do all that," Collins explained. "First of all, I’m needle-phobic."
Though some internet users suggested Collins had been 'preserved in salt' or perhaps even used time travel to maintain her appearance, the actor has insisted she simply has a more natural approach to maintaining her appearance.
She explained: "It was my mother who told me to moisturise and use night cream. I told my two girls and both of them have fabulous skin. And stay out of the sun.”
Fans have made clear they're keen to know Collins' tips, as one wrote: "Not me googling 'Does Joan Collins have a skincare line?'"
She doesn't unfortunately, but she's living proof that moisturiser and night cream can go a long way!
