Jennifer Garner has opened up about the hardest things she had to deal with when she split from husband Ben Affleck in 2015.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s relationship has been in the spotlight for decades, seemingly to the frustration of both celebrities.
The pair split after 10 years of marriage in 2015 and share three children together; Violet Anne, 20, Seraphina Rose, 17, and Samuel, 13.
People have been long fascinated about the split and remained interested in the romantic life of both following their divorce three years later after their split.

Both have remained relatively tight-lipped about it, however.
Garner, who is currently dating businessman John Miller, spoke to Marie Claire UK and reflected on the difficulty of the split.

She said: “You have to be smart about what you can and can’t handle, and I could not handle what was out there.”
Pointing off to the distance, she continued to say: "But what was out there, was not what was hard.
“Fact of it is what was hard. The actual breaking up of a family is what was hard. Losing a true partnership and friendship is what was hard.”
She went on to say following the split, she sought out community, explaining: “I make a big, concerted effort to see my people as much as I can, because that’s what matters.
“That’s where your resilience is: it’s in your relationships and in the people who carry you through.”
The star, who also discussed her upcoming TV projects like the second season of her AppleTV+ drama The Last Thing He Told Me, the actress spoke about what her priorities are now.
She said her current priorities are advocacy work with Save the Children US and Once Upon a farm as well as her kids.

Speaking of her children, she said: “They’re just so cool.
“Parenting now has shifted. It’s more about parenting with a button on my mouth…. You have to let them grow up and make their choices. You don’t get to control it.”
Regarding co-parenting with Affleck while their every move and action was scrutinized and in the spotlight, she said it was ‘the hardest thing’.
She added: “Not hard in the grand scheme of what is hard in the world, but tricky for me and tricky for my family.”
Hopefully things are considerably easier now for the pair as Affleck reportedly spent Christmas just gone with Garner and their kids.
