Ice-T and wife Coco have opened up about their X-rated admission - the saucy secret they say has kept their marriage alive for 24 years.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2002, have previously shared that the reason they've stayed happily married for more than two decades was thanks to a healthy sex life.

The rapper credited his long lasting relationship to 'hot jungle sex', and when asked by E! News at Heidi Klum’s Halloween on Friday (October 31) whether that's still the case, he replied: "Yeah jungle sex. I actually heard an 86 year old man say that, and I stole it.. I think that's kind of like what it is, but, I mean, I think you just got to stay in love. How simple is that?"

Coco backed him up: "You gotta listen to each other, and I know you've heard it before. You do have to conversate [sic]. You do have to have conversations over and over and over again you can't get used to each other."

Yes, apparently it's as straightforward as that - keep active in the bedroom while making sure to always communicate.

When asked what makes them such close friends as well as partners, Coco noted: "We're the exact same person."

She was then asked to explain and the TV personality continued: "Exactly. If I were to be a boy, I would be him. And if he would be a girl..."

Ice-T interjected to joke: "I'd be a little white girl with big boobs, you know what I'm saying? You got to turn the gangster into sexuality. It is, you know, the female power versus us.

"But at the end of the day, we just dig each other. You know what I'm saying? Obviously! You know, so it ain't gonna work no other way - trust me."

Before his 46-year-old wife added: "Yeah, we're the best friends."

Speaking to the broadcaster last year, Coco explained that you need to have good and healthy sex frequently, with the 67-year-old Law & Order: SVU actor agreeing.

Outside of the bedroom the couple also go on date nights often and like to get dressed up for each other.

Ice-T added: "When you first get with somebody, you want to have sex, right? If that ever ends, it's a wrap. When that feeling goes away, forget about it."

So there it is, if you're after a long-lasting relationship then you might need to spice things up under the sheets.
