Heidi Klum's Halloween costumes are known for being intricate, bold and impressive but there's an aspect of her 2024 outfit which is actually 'terrifying' social media users.

Klum proved she's always the Halloqueen at her 23rd annual spooky bash at The Venue on Music Row in New York, taking to the red carpet outside wearing a costume inspired by 1982 sci-fi movie classic E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial.

While social media users are in no doubt about the 51-year-old model 'winning' Halloween yet again, that's not stopped them from pointing out a pretty eerie detail about her and husband Tom Kaulitz's dress-up.

Having dressed up as a worm, a 95-year-old version of herself and even a peacock last year, Klum has become known for the immense effort she and teams of people put in to creating the most iconic Halloween outfits possible and this year was certainly no exception.

Klum took to her Instagram earlier in the day yesterday (October 31) to tease the big reveal, showing a thumb and then some outer layers of skin of the costume.

A video then unveiled her change from Klum into E.T. - donning a blond wig, bowl hat, scarf and cardigan too of course - with Kaulitz going for a more classic take on the alien from the 1982 release starring Drew Barrymore.

The outfit has received an outpouring of praise on social media, the costume deemed 'incredible' and Klum 'ALWAYS the Queen of Halloween'.

However, it's also been noted the costume is actually pretty 'scary' too, with one aspect in particular freaking some people out.

One Twitter user pointed out: "The neck being her face is actually scary."

"The eyes on the neck HELP," another echoed.

A third wrote: "This is amazing until you see the neck then, it's terrifying!"

Someone else added: "Knowing Heidi Klum’s face is in the neck of her ET is even scarier lol."

A fifth commented: "Her face/ head being the neck. heidi klum never stop taking over halloween."

And a final user said: "This became so horrifying to me once I noticed there are two sets of eyes and faces…."

A Reddit user also took issue with the costume's height, noting: "For some reason ET being that tall is freaking me out. ETs shouldn’t be that tall. I need them to cap out at like three feet. Great costume though."

    So, what do you think?
