Travis Kelce's dad Ed praises Taylor Swift for cleaning up rubbish in NFL suite

The Kelce patriarch said the pop star clearly didn't get the 'diva memo'.

Taylor Swift might be one of the biggest pop stars in the world right now, but she's still very humble.

For some people, the moment they get a whiff of fame they turn into a different person and manners go out the window.

But that doesn't apply to the 'Cruel Summer' singer.

She recently attended a football game to watch her new boyfriend Travis Kelce play for the Kansas City Chiefs.

The 33-year-old was in an NFL suite to see the Chiefs take on the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium and that's where she met Travis' dad Ed for the first time.

Those types of suites have loads of food and drink available and are reserved for VIPs.

While some might just take what they want and leave a mess, Ed was taken aback by how Taylor conducted herself.

“We’re sitting in the suite, she gets up and in the front room, she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around,” he explained to PEOPLE magazine.

“Because in the suites, everybody gets stuff and you empty it down wherever you can.

“And I’m just thinking, I don’t think she got the diva memo.

"She didn’t get the spoiled musician. She doesn’t know how to pull that off.

"And that really to me said a whole lot.”

Ed also said that Swift is 'a very, very sweet, very charming, down-to-earth young woman' who is 'very smart'.

Travis lamented that his new girlfriend was stuck with his dad while watching the football game.

During an episode of his New Heights podcast with his brother, Jason (who also plays in the NFL for the Philadelphia Eagles), the Chiefs tight end said: "You know Dad, like, I know Dad.

"This is a terrifying conversation. I felt terrible for Taylor for being [in that situation].”

Swift attended Travis' most recent NFL game over the weekend and gave a big hint that things are going well for the couple.

She was spotted wearing a bracelet that had 87 on it, which is Kelce's jersey number.

Swift was also pictured kissing Travis on the cheek in photos shared to Instagram and that's the first public display of affection apart from hand-holding in public.
