Rapper Cardi B has gotten some more piercings, revealing two new major dermal implants to cap off the year after starting it with a seriously NSFW body modification.
The 33-year-old 'WAP' singer shocked fans in January when she revealed her newly diamond-studded butt crack with a video showing off her dermal implant, which also sparked concerns around hygiene and potential infection.
For those who don't know, dermal implants are piercings which are inserted beneath the skin.
At the time, the Grammy-winning artist, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, said that she didn't feel any pain when getting her $13,000 dermal implant, despite it being in a sensitive area.

Cardi further explained that this was due to a previous operation to reduce the size of her behind, which left part of her butt 'numb'.

Sadly, and perhaps predictably, it later emerged that this skin-deep body mod was unable to cope with the stresses and strains of being on Cardi's lower, lower back, with her later telling the Call Her Daddy podcast that it had fallen down the toilet.
"It was like, 'Hold on... Ohhhhh!' and I was looking around. I was looking at my pants and my panties and stuff, and I'm like, 'Yep, went down the toilet'." she said.
To which host Alex Cooper responded: "13 f***ing k on your a**hole!"
"Mmm-hhhh. A** crack!" Cardi replied.
But this time around, the 'Bodak Yellow' rapper has been pierced in more resilient places, with a fresh dermal implant in the nape of her neck and another in her lower back, just not quite as low as last time.
Body modification artist Robbie Milian of New York's Refinery7 Tattoo Piercing shared a video on Instagram of the rapper's new dermals, with a clip showing something of the painful process, with the rapper letting out a squeal of pain in the video.
"Loving the vibe!" Robbie wrote in the video's caption.
The rapper isn't the only one to have sported a dermal implant; North West, the daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, was recently spotted with one on her finger.
Cardi got her new piercings last Thursday, barely a month after giving birth to her fourth child.
According to guidelines from the Association of Professional Piercers, new mothers are advised to 'wait at least three months after the delivery of their children' to get a piercing, to allow their immune systems to return to normal before a foreign object is inserted.

However, Healthline say that piercing rejection can be influenced by a number of factors, such as jewellery placement, or its size, shape, and material.
But the rapper has gone beyond just getting a new piercing, as she's also had her umbilical cord made into a necklace.
Following the birth of her son with her boyfriend Stefon Diggs, she handed the placenta to a company called Mommy Made Encapsulation, which shared a video of the process on its Instagram.
In the clip, they can be seen moulding the dyed blue umbilical cord into a heart shape using a wire before dehydrating it and covering it in gold.
Meanwhile, a second clip shows that she'd opted for a placenta print, too.
