Cameron Boyce's mom has spoken out about her late son's appearance in Happy Gilmore 2.
Happy Gilmore 2 dropped on Netflix on July 25 and fans were quick to spot a host of famous faces who had cameo in the highly anticipated movie.
Celebs like Kid Cudi, Travis Kelce, Post Malone, and Eminem all appeared in the sequel, while Adam Sandler returned as Happy Gilmore himself.

Another famous face Happy Gilmore viewers noticed in the movie was Cameron Boyce who made a brief appearance on a TV screen that was playing Jessie.
The tiny tribute moved viewers to tears in the wake of Boyce's passing in 2019. He was just 20 years old.

Boyce and Sandler had a close relationship having worked together on Grown Ups, one of Sandler's top five movies, where Boyce played the comedy veteran's on-screen son in both the first and second films.

Boyce's mom Libby has since reacted to her son's appearance in the film and spoke of his bond with Sandler.
"Adam and Cameron talked quite a bit in the days leading up to his death," Libby wrote on Instagram on July 28. "Cameron was supposed to be in Hubie Halloween and they were strategizing.
"They had a bond I think related to being authentic, funny and just keeping it real. Adam always finds a way to keep Cam's memory alive which warms our heart."
The Cameron Boyce Foundation's Instagram page also reacted to the late actor's cameo and thanked Sandler for including him.

"Thank you @adamsandler for honoring Cam’s legacy in Happy Gilmore 2," the page penned.
The foundation was set up the year of Boyce's passing. Per the website, the charity 'honors the legacy of Cameron Boyce by aiming to cure epilepsy through funding research, education and awareness campaigns while still supporting causes that were important to Cameron'.
The actor was 17 when he received his epilepsy diagnosis and endured just five seizures in his lifetime, said USA Today, the final one being fatal.

Boyce's cause of death was listed as SUDEP which stands for Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy and means there's no clear reason why a person with epilepsy has died.
SUDEP is rare and only effects one in 1,000 people with epilepsy each year, according to Epilepsy Action.
