Cameron Boyce’s death has been on the minds of many after fans spotted nods to the actor in Happy Gilmore 2.
It's been six years since Boyce, who played Adam Sandler's onscreen son in the movie Grown Ups, passed away.
The Californian actor’s death was a shock to the public and to the industry when it was revealed the 20-year-old had died suddenly.
With notable work in Descendants, Jessie, Liv and Maddie and more, Boyce was set to become a star as he progressed with his work.

But sadly, he passed away before it could become a reality.
"The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him," Boyce's family said at the time. "We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother."
Having worked with Sandler, the pair grew close- and with his latest movie, Happy Gilmore 2 being released on Netflix, many viewers have noticed a nod to his former on-screen son.

One of the scenes shows Sandler walking towards a check-in booth holding golf clubs and a shot of the person working behind the desk is apparently watching TV.
The TV in question shows Boyce on the screen, wearing a blue shirt and holding a pair of binoculars.
Fans think this is Boyce’s character Luke Ross on Disney's Jessie.
It's not the first time Sandler has paid tribute to the actor, with his 2020 movie Hubie Halloween, which was supposed to star Boyce before he died, shared a tribute which read: "In loving memory of CAMERON BOYCE.

“Gone way too soon and one of the kindest, coolest, funniest, and most talented kids we knew. You live on forever in our hearts and are truly missed every day.”
Boyce’s death occurred one year prior, on July 6, 2019, when he died in his sleep due to a seizure from epilepsy complications.
The family, who issued their grieving statement, went on to launch the Cameron Boyce Foundation in his memory, which hopes to find a cure for epilepsy.
Sandler has not been shy of taking about his love for Boyce, even expressing his feelings in an interview that has circulated online.

He went on to name Boyce’s parents, Libby and Victor, sharing that it must be the most ‘heartbreaking’ thing to go through.
He then nodded to the work Boyce’s parents are doing with the Foundation and continuing his legacy through their hard work.
