Millie Bobby Brown has shared why her future father-in-law Jon Bon Jovi won't be singing at her wedding.

Brown is set to wed Bon Jovi's 20-year-old son, Jacob Bongiovi, after the pair got engaged earlier this year.

The young couple started dating in 2021, with Bongiovi going on to pop the question in April.

Announcing their happy news, Brown, 19, shared a heartwarming snap of them laughing and smiling as she debuted a large rock on her ring finger.

She captioned the snap with Taylor Swift lyrics that read: "I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all."

Now wedding planning is well underway for Brown and Bongiovi, and they're said to be 'very excited' about their upcoming special day.

Speaking to CNN, the Stranger Things star: "Jake is very involved.

"He’s very helpful during the whole process.

"I’ve never felt alone in it, which I think is really nice. I’m always like, ‘Is this a good idea? Is this a good idea?’

"But ultimately, it’s just a very intimate day for the both of us and we’re really both very excited.”

But 'Livin' On A Prayer' hitmaker, Bon Jovi, won't be their wedding singer as Brown insists that the 61-year-old deserves a rest.

“I feel like that’s asking me to go and do a full-on play for everyone,” the 19-year-old said.

“I think the man needs a break. He doesn’t stop. He’s always doing tennis or singing lessons. I think he needs a break. A three-hour break.”

Some people have questioned whether Brown and Bongiovi are too young to get married, but his singer father sees no issue.

Speaking on Andy Cohen Live, he said: "I don’t know if age matters if you find the right partner and you grow together.

"That would be my advice: Growing together is wise.

"So, I think all my kids have found people that they think they can grow together with, and we like them all."

Bon Jovi then went on to label Brown as 'wonderful', and that her family in general are 'great'.

How cute!

And not only is Brown busy planning a wedding, the Enola Holmes star is also studying at university.

Discussing what it's like to go to school as a famous face, she told UNILAD: "I was shocked at kind of how university came into my life because I never really expected it for myself."

Noting that she's become UNICEF's youngest ever ambassador, Brown added: "But after taking, you know, the role of the as a UNICEF ambassador, I took it really seriously to make sure I had all the right information with what I was passionate about in regards to UNICEF.

"So, uni life is fun. I mean, it's online. So, it's not probably as exciting as everyone else. But it's very, very important to me and I value education very much."
