Love Is Blind stars Alexa and Brennon Lemieux have issued a statement announcing that they're ending their marriage.
Alexa and Brennon met on the third season of the popular Netflix dating show and tied the knot on camera in June 2021. The series didn't air until October 2022, however.
The couple were one of the handful of success stories to come from the show and welcomed their daughter, Vienna, in July 2024.
Announcing the news that they're going their separate ways, Alexa penned on Instagram today (December 3): "After much reflection and many heartfelt conversations, we have made the difficult decision to end our marriage. This choice was not made lightly, and it comes with a great deal of care, respect, and appreciation for the time we’ve shared."

She continued: "We entered this relationship with love and optimism, and we leave it with gratitude for the experiences that shaped us and the growth we each gained along the way. While our journey as a married couple is coming to an end, we remain supportive of one another, devoted to our daughter, and committed to navigating this transition with compassion."
Alexa went on to ask for privacy 'as we move forward and focus on our individual paths while keeping our precious daughter as our top priority'.
Love Is Blind fans have been quick to share their surprise at the news. Someone wrote: "I actually gasped out loud. Didn’t see this coming."

Sadly, Alexa and Brennon aren't the first couple from Love Is Blind to call things quits after marrying on the show.
Nick Thompson wed Danielle Ruhl on the second season for the series but the pair ended their marriage a year later.
Following his stint on reality TV, Nick said he was on the verge of homelessness.
Speaking to the Daily Mail in August 2023 he said: "I lost my job last November. I'm having an incredibly hard time finding [a new] one."

Nick continued to share: "I burned through my savings that cashed out my 401(k). I've got two months left in the bank to pay my mortgage. I can't get a job because people don't take me seriously."
