Fans have rushed to defend Millie Bobby Brown after the actor was branded 'dismissive' of a Ukrainian fan.
Brown took to the stage at a Comic Con event in Germany to answer an array of questions from fans excited to meet the fan-favorite Stranger Things star.
However, one answer seemed to rub some viewers the wrong way but the 19-year-old's fans have since flocked to her defense. Check it out:
In the clip from the event, a fan, named Annie, explained: "I'm so excited to be here. It was a really long way to come here. I come here from Ukraine."
She continued: "To be honest, when Russia attacked Ukraine in February 2022, I thought it would not be real."

Annie went on ask: "War, unfortunately, is not over. But I hope Ukraine will win soon.
"And my question is, what life advice can you give to your fans?"
The host of the panel can then be heard calling Annie's query a 'deep question' before Brown offers her own answer.

Reminding the audience that she is just 19, the Enola Holmes star replies: "There is a mom in the audience that will give better advice than I can.
"I have no advice for you. I'm still learning too."
Brown then went on to pass over a nugget of wisdom that her own grandmother passed down to her.
"I would say you know, just, I always say be yourself. That's the advice that my grandmother and my mom gave me and that's the only thing I can pass on," she said.

"Other than that, I'm still learning too, girlfriend."
The fan then had one for question for the actor, asking her to 'say hi' to her sister who wasn't able to attend the Comic Con event.
She asked: "Can you say hi and wave into my phone?"
The host then told the fan they wouldn't be able to do so as they were pushed for time: "We have a lot of questions. We only have like 15 minutes, sorry."

Footage of the interaction has since made its rounds on Reddit after the actor was criticized for her allegedly 'dismissive' response to the Ukrainian fan's question.
One Reddit user wrote: "To be honest it was such a juxtaposition of emotion behind the questions. To go from 'I come from war-torn Ukraine, I can’t believe I am here' to 'Can you wave and say hi to my sister selfie'.
"That’s a tricky emotional rollercoaster to ride especially in front of a crowd."

A second added: "This is so common, it's weird... People will approach their fav celeb and be like 'Hey so I just lost my brother I'm super sad and stuff... Can you say hi to my bestie who couldn't be with me here today?'
"It's just so awkward and embarrassing."
"It was actually an excellent response," a third fan praised. "Why are we asking for life advice from teen actor lol? What advice are we expecting here lol?"
A final Reddit user declared: "I don't think it was dismissive. It's okay to be young and admit you don't have the answers, or know how to fully take in an experience another person is sharing to you."

And this isn't the first criticism Brown has faced over her Comic Con panel talk.
People were also left divided by Brown’s 'attitude' after she told fans to 'put their screens down'.
Appearing as part of a panel, the 19-year-old was being filmed by an audience members when they asked if the actor could say hi to one of their friends while on camera.

Although she complied, Brown followed up by telling them: "We have to live in the moment, put your screens down."
While it was meant to be a motivational word of advice, the interaction has since sparked a debate on social media between fans after a clip of the moment went viral on TikTok.
Some hit back at the actor's answer, claiming she was 'too young for this kind of attitude'.
Others, however, were a tad more understanding.

"She was so annoyed. I’d be too," penned another TikTok user, adding: "The majority of the people didn’t even have questions."
