Megan Fox explains why she's happy Machine Gun Kelly didn't win a Grammy

The actor revealed exactly how she felt about her boyfriend at the award ceremony

Megan Fox has revealed the reason why she was happy about boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly not winning a Grammy.

The 36-year-old definitely saw the positives in the situation and instead, praised her partner for how he dealt with the loss.

Fox and Kelly, 32, first met and got together back in 2020. Since then, the couple have made headlines for their outrageous public displays of affection, outfit choices and much more.

And the latest follows Fox openly praising Kelly - real name Colson Baker - for his recent Grammy loss and how he handled it.

Kelly was nominated for a Grammy in the Best Rock Album category for his record titled 'Mainstream Sellout'.

Up against the likes of The Black Keys, Elvis Costello & The Imposters and IDLES - it was Ozzy Osbourne who ended up taking the Grammy home for 'Patient Number 9'.

On the red carpet, Kelly opened up to E! News exactly how he was feeling following the loss.

"I didn’t take the category home, and I almost feel like I asked for that lesson," he explained.

"I felt like I lacked self-love, and I was valuing myself so much on career accomplishments that I needed this… I need to appreciate what I already have, and once that self-love happens for me, things like the awards will come."

Taking to Instagram, the Jennifer's Body star then shared with her 20.7 million followers an appraisal congratulating the American rapper's 'grace and maturity'.

She posted: "Congratulations on being in the very small percentage of artists who have received a Grammy nomination.

"You have handled this process with a grace and maturity that I haven’t seen from you before and I’m so proud of you."

Fox continued to commend the 32-year-old's 'humility and gratitude' before adding that Kelly's growth as an individual was far more of an achievement than any Grammy win.

"Watching you grow into yourself and become a better man is an immeasurably more satisfying experience than watching you accept an award."

The actor went on to assure her boyfriend that while she's happy about how Kelly handled the loss, she was sure that a future Grammy 'will come'.

Ending with even further compliments to the rapper, Fox added just how 'beautiful' she found Kelly.

"I guess but I will just never ever get over how beautiful your face is," she revealed.

"I hope," the 36-year-old concluded, "one day you’ll see yourself the way I see you. I love you and I’ll keep this memory of you forever."
