Michael Jordan’s son Marcus has reportedly started planning his wedding with Larsa Pippen.

The Trophy Room CEO has been dating the Real Housewives of Miami star for about a year, and the pair went Instagram official together back in January.

Pippen is a TV personality and businesswoman, well-known as the ex-wife of former NBA player, Scottie Pippen.

The pair were married from 1997 until 2021, and share four children together – including basketball player Scotty Jr.

Of course, Scottie and Michael were teammates in the Chicago Bulls but famously have a long-running feud – making this new relationship a little messy.

And in recent months, it seems to have been clear the G.O.A.T apparently does not approve of his 32-year-old son’s relationship with the 49-year-old.

A video shared by PageSix showed Michael being asked if he approved, to which he gave a resounding ‘no’.

But it seems Marcus isn’t too fazed by that as he said that he was ‘dying laughing’ at the comment, saying it was ‘hilarious’ and adding, ‘Because I know my dad, right?’

However, Larsa wasn't too thrilled by it, saying that she was 'kinda embarrassed' and didn't think it was funny.

There’s been no official confirmation that he and Larsa are going to marry but she’s been seen sporting a ring on her wedding finger and in her Instagram posts too.

The couple dined at Jones in West Hollywood earlier this week and as they were leaving, the basketball legend’s son was asked by TMZ if wedding bells were on the horizon.

And he responded: “We’re looking for a location.”

They were followed by paps asking if there’s already a date set, to which Marcus replied that it’s ‘in the works’.

So Larsa really could be about to become Michael’s daughter-in-law after all.

Back in February, she assured that their whole family was 'fine' during an appearance on The Tamron Hall Show.

Larsa said: “I don’t really want to talk about them. I feel like it’s not about my parents or his parents. They’re all happy. Our whole family is fine. I feel like it’s more about where I am, where [Marcus] is.

"I feel like we're in a great place. We motivate each other. We're really happy being together. And I feel like that's the most important thing.”

She also said they’ve ‘spent holidays together’ and insisted: “We’re in a great place.”

During a recent episode of the pair’s Separation Anxiety podcast, Larsa asked Marcus if he’d expect an engagement ring back if he broke up with his partner and he replied: “Nah. I feel like nah.

"Once I spend my money on it, in my mind, I've written it off as gone. It's yours.”
