Kris Jenner shares Kim Kardashian's personal birthday message from Borat

Sacha Baron Cohen, the comedian behind Borat, had originally created the video for Kim Kardashian's 40th, but Kris Jenner has reshared it

Kris Jenner has shared Kim Kardashian’s personal birthday message from Borat as her daughter marks her 42nd birthday.

Sacha Baron Cohen, the comedian and actor behind the satirical fictional character, had originally created the bespoke video message for Kardashian’s birthday a couple of years ago, but Jenner clearly loves it so much that she couldn’t help but re-share.

She wrote: “Love this!! Thank you @Borat for the birthday wishes for @kimkardashian, and for always making us laugh!! Happy Birthday Kim!!!! I love you.”

In the video, Borat said to the reality star: “Jagshemash! Happy birthday, Kimothy!

“Kazakhstan just get your television show. I like! My chram has been Keeping up with the Kardashians,' continued Borat, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.”

He continued: “My favorite sister is you, my second favorite Kris, and the hardest sister of all to make hand-party to, is Rob.”

The comedian rounded the message off by saying: “Happy birthday! Chenquieh!”

He had originally sent Kardashian the video to celebrate her 40th, with the star gushing on social media at the time: “OMGGGGG A BIRTHDAY MESSAGE FROM BORAT!!!!! #Borat2.”

Of course, this wasn’t the only way Kardashian marked her milestone birthday, having famously whisked her friends and family off to a private island for a lavish party.

At the time, Covid was very much still making its impact across the world, but the star had been able to party it up with her ‘inner circle’ by apparently forcing everyone to quarantine for two weeks, while also undertaking ‘multiple’ health screenings.

"I surprised my closest inner circle with a trip to a private island where we could pretend things were normal just for a brief moment in time,” she tweeted after the do.

“We danced, rode bikes, swam near whales, kayaked, watched a movie on the beach and so much more. I realize that for most people, this is something that is so far out of reach right now, so in moments like these, I am humbly reminded of how privileged my life is.”

Then there was the hologram of her late father Robert Kardashian, who passed away from oesophageal cancer in 2003, which she’d been gifted by then-husband Kanye West.

In footage shared by Kardashian on social media, the hologram can be seen wishing Kim a happy birthday and telling her how proud he was of her.
