Kelis has responded to rumours that she is dating actor Bill Murray.
Social media users were left in shock by the unexpected alleged union between the pair, with many refusing to believe it.
But now the ‘Milkshake’ hit-maker, 43, has responded to a fan on Instagram who asked about her rumored romance with the Groundhog Day star, 72.

The Grammy nominee shared a few bikini shots where she was pictured in the sea while wearing a colourful two-piece.
“I’m a beach bum,” she captioned the post.
A few of her 1.1 million followers took to the comments section to quiz the music star about her alleged new romance.
One fan asked: “Ma’am would you care to address these Bill Murray allegations?!? Cuz damn! What he doing with all that?!?”

The cheeky comment got a response from Kelis herself, who wrote back: “Lol no babe, I wouldn’t bother at all.”
Meanwhile, another fan of the singer commented: “That Milkshake will forever bring the boys to the yard.”
Someone else joked: “Milkshake brings all the boys to the BEACH!!!”

And another commenter quipped: “Bill will be lost in translation if he really had Kelis. She too fine.”
One fan criticised the rumor mill and said: “Why, if you’re friends with someone, do people automatically assume you’re dating?!? Come on, guys and ladies can be just friends. Ugh.”
Before Kelis shut down the rumors, news of what could have been Hollywood’s most unexpected couple came to light on Thursday (8 June). It was reported that Kelis and Bill have been ‘getting close for a while’, according to The U.S. Sun.

Kelis had her first child, Knight, with her now ex-husband Nas, in July 2009. She also had two children with her late husband, Mike Mora, named Shepherd, eight, and Galilee, two.
Mora died in March 2022 from stage four stomach cancer. He revealed he had cancer in September 2021 and had been diagnosed a year earlier, at which time doctors had given him 18 months to live.
Kelis and Mora lived together on a remote farm in Temecula, California.
Murray is a dad-of-six, including two sons with his first wife Margaret Kelly and four sons with his second wife, Jennifer Butler. Murray and Butler divorced in 2008 and she died in January 2021.
