People are in stitches over a sex worker's brutal takedown of Eminem after the rapper prank called her to promote an album.

Eminem's plan to try promote his 1999 release The Real Slim Shady LP massively backfired when he was quickly shot down by a sex worker.

The rapper - who was 27 years old at the time - had released his debut solo album Infinite in 1996, and SSLP would see him gain global recognition, but until then, the sex worker certainly put him in his place after how he spoke to her, attempting to 'set up an appointment like a man'.

See what Eminem said to her here:

On the phone to a sex worker named Nicole, Eminem - real name Marshall Mathers - begins trying to smooth-talk the sex worker.

Alas, she's quickly having none of it: "I'm okay honey, but I'm very busy. Did you wanna set up an appointment?"

Eminem then requests an appointment to get his 'd**k rubbed,' waffling on about how he's 'kind mellow' and has a 'really laid back' personality.

Nicole questions whether Eminem wants to come in to see her or 'get off' over the phone and that's when tensions really start to rise.

Eminem requests to come and visit Nicole in person, but faffs around so long she simply replies: "Why don't you be a man about it and set up an appointment? What time would you like to come?"

The rapper is offended and doesn't try to hide it, calling Nicole a 'b***h' and urging he's 'really confident in [his] sexuality'.

The man doth protest too much methinks.

The back and forward continues, Nicole can't be bothered with Eminem's s**t and tells him to just call her back when he 'knows for sure'.

Eminem says: "Alright b***h I'mma call you in a minute. You know what I mean?"

Nicole concludes the call: "Okay baby, go jerk off your little d**k."

The recording has since been shared to Reddit and users are howling with laughter over Eminem's attempt to prank call Nicole and use the recording as promo for SSLP.

One said: "She kinda f**king destroyed him."

"Lmfao. This is great," another wrote.

A third commented: "It's kinda bada** how she handles him, she knows the business."

And a final resolved: "Just think about how someone can come up with the idea just to use it to promote your album."
