It's said that most couples have sex (on average) once a week, but this married pair decided to challenge themselves to have sex every day for 12 months.
While this might sound like some people's dream, for Brittany Gibbons it was a bigger undertaking.
Like many women, Brittany wasn't feeling terribly confident when it came to her body image — something which affects a huge about of people and their sex lives.
A 2021 article published by Psychology Today found that a whopping 90 percent of women reported to having body dissatisfaction, while 20 to 40 percent of men weren't happy with how they looked either.
With poor body image comes low libido, said the news outlet, so those with negative feelings about how they look are often having less sex than those who have more body confidence.

She penned in a 2024 Women's Health article: "Shortly after having my third child, I remember getting out of the shower, catching a glimpse of myself in the mirror, and wondering, ‘Who let my mum in here?’
"From that point on, I didn’t let myself be naked. I kept the lights off during sex, hid my stomach and boobs inside a camisole, and I waited for my husband to leave the bedroom before barreling from the shower to my closet to get dressed."
In a bid to fix her body image issues, Brittany decided to have sex with her husband every day.
The impact it had? The mom-of-three had more confidence than ever.
Brittany said that she started to enjoy sex again as her body confidence improved (HLN/YouTube) "The changes in the way I saw my body were staggering," Brittany wrote. "Three months in, I found myself enjoying sex again, making a playlist of songs that turned me on and was no longer hyper-aware of the sounds my curvy body was making: Like the way my thighs clapped together or my tummy smacked his."
She continued to say that by six months she started taking off the cami she'd usually wear to hide her body and started to feel less self conscious about herself, allowing her to actually enjoy the sex she was having with her spouse.
"A year in, I stopped wearing clothes entirely," Brittany went on. She concluded: "My relationship with my husband, and my body, had changed in amazing ways."
