When it was announced that Pete and Kim Kardashian had split after nine months of dating, people immediately started speculating over who he would end up with next.
Just a few months after the break up, Pete sent the internet into a complete meltdown when he was spotted with Emily Ratajkowski, who has filed for divorce from her husband of four years, Sebastian Bear-McClard.
But long before Emily was back on the market, Emily was one of Pete's biggest defenders.
It all started when Emily and Pete worked together on a shoot for Moose Knuckles outerwear last year.
Soon after, the two appeared separately as guests on Late Night with Seth Meyers, and made a point to shout each other out.

Asked how Pete got on against the other professional models on the photo shoot, Emily hit back: "I think you're being a little mean!"
She explained to Seth: "Pete's got the height. Obviously women find him very attractive.
"I feel like only other men feel [confused by it]. I feel like guys are like, 'Wow, what's this guy got?'
"I mean, he seems super charming, he's vulnerable, he's lovely, his fingernail polish is awesome, he looks good, he's great! A good relationship with his mother too."
The model, activist, and author concluded that it was 'hard to find' men like Pete Davidson these days.
Speculation that Emily and Pete were an item started on celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi - which Kim Kardashian herself has previously referred to as 'the bible' - when an anonymous post claimed to have seen the two 'holding hands' in Brooklyn, New York.
While neither Emily nor Pete have confirmed anything just yet, but if they *hypothetically* are together, then I *hypothetically* wish them nothing but the best.
