Elijah Wood has been keeping something from us and it is pretty big news.
He and his wife had a secret baby they've kept hidden for years, shielding the wee bub from the press and other prying eyes.
The Lord of the Rings actor shared the wonderful news with the world in an interview with the Wall Street Journal's My Monday Morning.
But, it is not exactly clear if it meant to let the secret slip or if he had intended to keep it from the world permanently.

"We've got a 3-year-old son and a 14-month-old daughter, and she wakes us up pretty early. I like getting up early, I like starting the day," he shared, revealing the existence of the hidden child.
Wood said on parenthood: "You're constantly being challenged, in the best way."
"It's as much my own personal growth as it is about my child's growth."
As he's held onto the amazing but heavy secret for nearly two years, we can only assume it was tougher than carrying The One to Rule Them All.
The Yellowjackets star also revealed he's a hands-on father, working as a team with his wife in everything from sleep training to packing school lunches for their kids.
He also revealed he has another secret.
Although he has a massive 2.9 million following across Facebook and Instagram, he also has a secret Instagram account.
Finstas - a word for fake accounts used by celebrities to keep their private lives private - are common in Hollywood.
"I wanted to be able to share photos that I didn't necessarily want to share with the world," Wood said.
"An account that's public-facing would really change what I share."
He added: "It's not like I'm sharing anything that I wouldn't want to go out, but I'm a relatively private person."
We can only assume this is how he managed to keep his new daughter secret for so long: with careful, cautious, planning.
The incredibly private couple welcomed their son, Evan, to the world in 2019.
That news was kept rather hush-hush as well, so we shouldn't be surprised.
As Wood has disclosed the age of his daughter, quick maths would indicate she was born in late December 2020 to early January 2021.
