Porn star Adriana Chechik broke her back in two places during freak foam pit accident

Adriana Chechik has broken her back in two places after suffering a terrible accident at a foam pit.

The porn star was attending a TwitchCon event in San Diego when she climbed into the seemingly comfortable pit for what looked like a gladiator-style battle.

Video footage of the incident shows Chechik jump in the air before hopping into the foam pit below.

Something must have happened when she hit the floor as she yells out that she 'can't get up'.

Adriana couldn't move and an announcer asked if they could get a medic in quickly to assess her pain.

The porn star eventually got the help she needed and her worst fears were confirmed.

She wrote on Twitter: "Well, I broke my back in two places and am getting surgery to put a meter rod in for support today. Send your support.

“When it rains it pours and I am definitely feeling the rain right now.”

People were quick to send their love and support to Adriana as she recovers from the devastating injury.

Fellow adult film star Brandi Love wrote: "I am still in shock hearing about this. I’m so sorry darlin. You’re in my thoughts & prayers."

Riley Reid added: "Oh my gosh...I’m so sorry to hear that angel!! Send you love and a fast recovery."

Edgar Jimenez, a convention volunteer who worked during the TwitchCon event, witnessed the porn star's injury in real-time.

“She was just doing regular game play, but unfortunately, during her victory dance, she fell and landed, where she was for a good minute or so,” Jimenez explained to Buzzfeed News.

Chechik recently made headlines when she announced why she was quitting the porn industry.

Speaking on the Holly Randall Unfiltered podcast, Chechik confessed she wants to explore new career opportunities.

"I will say Twitch has been the best blessing for me because I, for the first time in my life, was on a platform… I was just somewhere where people were valuing me for me," she began, adding that she hopes in ‘a year and a half’s time’ she’ll no longer be working in porn. 

"I just have to get everyone to see me as something more first," she shared.

Chechik said she recently realised she has ‘no notion of the outside world’, which is why she wants to move onto pastures new. 

"I was craving intellectuality and learning, and I just wasn't getting it… I didn't have any notion of the outside world," Chechik said.

"The experiences and conversations on [Twitch] have made me realise, 'you're more than just how you've fetishised yourself,' because I fetishised myself; it also gave me the understanding that I am more than this," she added.
