Following the fantastic reception to the Hogwarts Legacy game so far, Potterheads will be pleased to know that a multiplayer mode is on the horizon.

Hogwarts Legacy has only been out for four days and it has since become the most successful Harry Potter game of all time.
The open-world role-playing game, which is set long before Potter’s time in the 1800s, dropped on Friday (10 February).

It allows players to attend classes at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry while also exploring the likes of Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade and the Forbidden Forest, with the website teasing: "Your character is a student who holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart.
“Now you can take control of the action and be at the center of your own adventure in the wizarding world. Your legacy is what you make of it.”
Prior to its release, fans were disappointed when it was confirmed that Hogwarts Legacy would be a single-player game.
However hope is not lost as PC Gamer reports that Together Reborn, the team that created the Skyrim multiplayer mod, are now working on a Potter-specific mod called HogWarp.

It’s not an official multiplayer mod made by the original game's developers. The mod in very early development but it sounds incredibly promising.
The goal is to have have to eight people play together at once which will likely be a huge relief for all the new Hogwarts students out there.
Mod creator Yamashi told PC Gamer: “Our aim is to figure out how to do the basics such as spawning characters with the player's appearance, animations and NPC.

“We are not going to create any multiplayer specific content ourselves, we want to provide a stable framework so that people can enjoy the vanilla game and maybe extend it themselves later on.”
Harry Potter fans can try the mod themselves by subscribing to Yamashi’s Patreon for easy access to a test build. It is expected to be fully functional in ‘a few months’.
While we wait for the multiplayer mode to arrive, players recently discovered that gameplay can be drastically improved by changing one setting.

A Reddit user called egyptianbeast96 shared: "PSA: Turn off these two settings for more immersion. Highly recommend going into the user interface settings and turning off ‘Show HUD Tracking Icons’ and ‘Minimap.’
“It makes a world of difference and since there is a button to turn on quest tracking in the actual world, the two settings off adds a whole level of immersion if you want to explore Hogwarts to the fullest.”
