Gamers are all in agreement that they want this same hyper-realistic feature to be introduced with Grand Theft Auto VI.

All gamers are well aware at this point how long we have been waiting for GTA VI.

Rockstar Games - the developers of the famed franchise - released Grand Theft Auto V in September 2013, with the tenth anniversary of the beloved game coming earlier this year.

Since then, Rockstar has released Red Dead Redemption 2 to much critical acclaim, while also releasing remasters of some of its much-loved titles.

Earlier this month, Rockstar confirmed that a trailer for GTA VI would be coming in December, simultaneously breaking the internet in the process.

In a statement released on X, formerly Twitter, Rockstar's president Sam Houser said: "Next month marks the 25th anniversary of Rockstar Games. Thanks to the incredible support of our players worldwide, we have had the opportunity to create games we are truly passionate about.

"Without you, none of this would be possible, and we are so grateful to all of you for sharing this journey with us.

"In 1998, Rockstar Games was founded on the idea that video games could come to be as essential to culture as any other form of entertainment, and we hope that we have created games you love in our efforts to be part of that evolution.

"We are very excited to let you know that in early December, we will release the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto. We look forward to many more years of sharing these experiences with all of you."

As we approach the release of the first GTA VI trailer, many fans have flocked to social media to reveal their wishes for the next instalment in the famed gaming franchise.

And perhaps one of the most requested features mentioned on X is something that will make GTA VI hyper-realistic.

It involves mechanics such as buying gas for your vehicle and repairing your weapon.

One X user wrote: "For GTA 6 it's gonna be interesting whether Rockstar go for Hyper Realism like RDR2 or more arcadey, or a mix of both. If they do go the realism route I wanna see them go all out then, I'm talking fill up the gas tank, repairing weapon damage etc."

While a second added: "One detail I need in GTA 6 is the ability stop & fill-up a vehicle at a gas station cause' I can shoot the gas tank (in story mode) & it drains, we should be able to fill up a car AND have different mileage options for each car."

We should find out whether such hyper-realistic features are in GTA VI with the new trailer releasing soon.
