Red Dead Redemption 2 players are only just realising that Arthur only says 'f**k' twice in the game.

The immensely popular title has been on the market since 2018, and has become one of the best selling video games of all time, with over 53 million copies shipped.

There are a lot of players out there and after a one-day free event took place last month, in which players could receive a variety of rewards and incentives by completing missions, taking part in challenges and spending their hard-earned cash on weapons, property and apparel, there's more attention on the game than ever.

YouTuber Nestan posted a video of their gameplay footage from Red Dead Redemption 2 and made us all aware to the fact that Arthur, the outlaw and bounty hunter Arthur Morgan, only drops the f-bomb twice.

As fans are aware, the game is set in a fictionalised version of the United States in 1899. Arthur is a member of the Van Der Linde gang, who must tackle with the decline of the Wild West while fighting rival gangs and government forces, which left fans thinking they'd be in for a little more cursing.

Nestan compiled both times Arthur says the f-word in the game and the whole video lasts for just over a minute. Since the action-adventure game is set in an open world, this has shocked fans even more.

Fans took to the comments to share their shock and the reactions are hilarious.

“But Rockstar will be sure to have every character say ‘Goddam’ 4,000 times every mission,” one fan quipped.

Lots of gamers compared Red Dead Redemption 2 to Rockstar’s other hugely popular title, the one and only Grand Theft Auto.

“I actually appreciate the lack of the f bomb in the red dead games compared to gta 5 which had it almost every second or third word. I like me a potty mouth but when it's in excess like Rob Zombie’s Halloween 2 it comes off like a teenage boy who's finally allowed to swear wrote the script.”

Fans are discovering something new about the game.

Another fan wrote: “I want someone to make a mod that causes Arthur to just randomly say 'fuck' near constantly.”

One gamer joked: “What this game taught us is how to taunt people without using any dirty word.”

While someone else commented: “Arthur saying 'fuck' feels so wrong but so normal at the same time, his voice almost sound like it wasn't made to say it.”

A YouTuber penned: “Hearing the F bomb said in this game, especially by Arthur and John is too satisfying. It has a much larger impact when they say it and you can hear the anger or seriousness in their voices.”

Other fans noted that Arthur says ‘f**k’ at least one more time while at camp when he sings with Uncle.

Red Dead Redemption fans are looking ahead though to future instalments, with many anticipating a third game, or a remake of the original Red Dead Redemption.
