Bryan Johnson is doing the absolute most to extend his biological age and has picked up a fair few critics in his efforts.

47-year-old Bryan Johnson is the self-proclaimed ‘biohacker’ and spends millions to ultimately extend his life.

The $2 million he spends is part of Project Blueprint and has been in the news for some time over his efforts to 'live forever'.

This has meant he has tried a lot of different drugs and lifestyles to reduce his biological age.

Johnson isn’t the first person in human history to try and live forever, but that doesn't stop people from having a lot to say about him specifically, and thanks to the magic of social media, people can - and do - freely say what they think about his endeavor.

While some admit to being curious about his health goals and methods, others have taken to calling him names like ‘crazy’ or ‘foolish’.

In a recent video he uploaded to YouTube, Johnson addressed these comments and seemed rather confident in how he was living life and the progress he is making.

Johnson appeared to give a rather philosophical take on the critical comments and insisted people would eventually get on board with his efforts.

He said: “None of us have any idea what we are talking about.

“If we all introspect, we all realize that we are not the independent thinkers that we think we are.

“We do what other people do, we want to be part of the tribe, we don’t want to be ostracized.

“It doesn’t matter at all what anyone says, the only thing that matters is what they do.

“So it is not even a question of whether this is correct, it is inevitably correct, it is just a matter of are you going to be an early adopter or are you going to be a late adopter.”

With that said, Johnson has joked about how he will eventually die, despite his efforts to extend his life as much as possible.

While he might have the ‘lung capacity of an 18-year-old and heart of a 37-year-old' there are still many ways he can bite the dust.

Taking to Twitter, Johnson wrote: “I guarantee I'm going to die in the most ironic way possible. I hope you all enjoy.”

Fans very much enjoyed this prospect (as he hoped) and gave some strange ways that he could expect to die from.

Some suggested he would die from simply choking on some healthy mystery food or finally achieving immortality but getting trapped in a submarine at the bottom of the ocean.
