A biohacker who wants to 'live forever' has said his nighttime erections have increased by 34 percent using Botox injections.

Bryan Johnson is taking part in an intense experimental medical program in the hope of 'reversing aging'.

From following a strict diet and using his son's blood, Johnson is doing everything to remain as biologically young as possible.

In addition to his restrictive lifestyle centred around diet and exercise, Johnson, 47, has spent close to $2 million on 'treatments' he hopes will keep him looking young for years to come.

This week, Johnson has spoken about how Botox has been enhancing his nighttime erections, which are apparently a marker of good health.

“We set out to increase my nighttime erections. NTEs are a strong biomarker of cardiovascular, psychological and sexual health,” he said on social media.

To increase the erections, Johnson began a mix of shockwave therapy and Botox.

Research has found injections of Botox into the penis can help strengthen erections by relaxing the muscles in the walls of blood vessels.

Meanwhile, shockwave therapy uses a wand which 'shocks' the penis using non-electrical technology.

Unsurprisingly, Johnson has described it as painful and specifically a '9/10' at 'the tip'.

In a post on Twitter, Johnson explained that despite previously taking Tadalafil - used to treat erectile dysfunction - his sexual function was normal prior to his interventions, and in 2024, he began working to improve his erections.

"Over the following months, I started two nighttime erection health interventions: focused shockwave therapy & botox. I then completed follow up measurements," he explained.

"2024 Nighttime Erection follow ups:

"Aug 2024: 3 hr 15 min.

"Oct 2024: 2 hr 59 min.

"Dec 22 2024: 3 hr 2 min.

"Dec 23 2024: 2 hr 32 min."

He continued: "Conclusion: my nighttime erections improved by 34%, independent of Tadalafil.

"... At baseline, I had already been on 2.5 mg of Tadalafil for two months. Since research shows it restores lost function but doesn’t enhance normal function (my function was normal), we assumed it didn’t have any impact and even if it did, it was already reflected in the baseline.

"The increase in nighttime erections appear to be a result of the focused shockwave and Botox therapy, which raised NTEs to around 3 hours and brought my night time erection biological age to around 20."

Johnson also said that he'd had a number of men messaging him about erectile dysfunction and the stigma that can be associated with it.

"Many men have told me that posting this all publicly has been the most helpful thing I’ve shared. ED is common, but most don’t talk about it. 40% haven’t even told their doctor. There’s stigma around using interventions like Cialis, as the perception is it makes you less of a man," he added.

"Men, if you’re not performing how you’d like, there are many paths to improvement. There’s no shame in this and in fact will make you more of a man to address it head on."
