A self-described 'biohacker' has made a startling admission after taking magic mushrooms.
Bryan Johnson frequently posts online about his extreme lifestyle which he hopes will prolong his life, even saying that he wants to 'live forever'.
The tech millionaire undergoes a gruelling routine every morning, involving exposures to multiple different kinds of light and monitoring the air quality in his home.

Then, of course, there's diet, which is extremely strict - as well as taking several different supplements every day.
Johnson, 48, has claimed that his experiment and extreme lifestyle has helped him to have the 'heart of a 37-year-old' and the 'lung capacity of an 18-year-old'.
But while he posts frequently about his strict lifestyle, Johnson seemingly took a turn after making a shock post online.

It came after he took a 'heroic' dose of magic mushrooms as an experiment, recording his findings afterwards.
Taking the hallucinogenic fungus is believed to help people have epiphanies about their life.
And from reading the post, it appeared that Johnson may well have had something just like this, suggesting that he does need a huge amount of apparatus with him to help keep his 'longevity' programme going.
He wrote: "I’m in D.C. for a thing. Packing my longevity for travel is a lot. A pair of underwear and toothbrush would be so much easier.
"Sometimes I think you’re right and this whole thing has gotten out of control and I need to chill."
In a shocking twist, it appeared that Johnson seemed to be having a change of heart about his lifestyle.
Or so it would seem, anyway.

In a follow up post, Johnson revealed that the first one had in fact been a joke, and that he is as committed as ever to his project.
He wrote: "I’m playing with this post, making fun of myself for the insane lengths I go to embody this don’t die experiment."
Johnson referenced his recent magic mushrooms trip, adding: "Given that people are interested in my mindset post mushrooms and may be unfamiliar with my humor, this post is play and not serious."
The millionaire took mushrooms while being monitored, and hoped to record what happened if there was anything of note.
Johnson wrote after his trip: “Yes, this trip changed me. Probably not as you’d expect.
“People assume I am fearful of death. I’m not. In my darkest days of depression, I reconciled with death."
