Apple has added a brand new device to its website, but shoppers have one big problem with it.

If you're looking for a new MacBook, iPhone or iPad, you can pretty much find whatever you need on the Apple Store.

But fans have spotted one unexpected item, which bizarrely, shoppers cannot purchase.

Say hello to Lumon Terminal Pro, which has actually been added to the site as part of a promotion for the Apple TV+ series, Severance.

Severance returned to our screens earlier this year and once again captivated viewers with its mystifying, mind-bending storyline.

With a cast made up of Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Zach Cherry, John Turturro, Tramell Tillman and Dichen Lachman, Severance has earned an outstanding score of 96 percent on Rotten Tomatoes and reviews from fans who have described it as the 'the best TV show [they] have ever watched'.

The show is about a team of office workers who undergo severance procedures to divide their memories between their work and personal lives.

It means the workers have no memory of work when they're not there and no recollection of their lives outside of the office while they're not on shift.

In Severance, the Lumon Industries tech workers sit at Lumon Terminal Pro computers, hence the addition of the product onto Apple's website.

People were pretty impressed with the promotional gimmick on social media, with one person tweeting: "Love the retro-futuristic vibes of the Lumon Terminal Pro! Would totally buy merch if it becomes available."

Another said: "This is great! Apple now has the Lumon Terminal Pro listed on Apple's website."

And a third added: "I think if they actually sold it, a fair amount of people would actually buy it."

While a fourth commented: "I would click buy so fast."

And someone else said: "Pretty funny that @Apple has added the Lumon Terminal Pro to its Mac lineup - a nod to the retro-styled computers from Severance. While it’s a fun Easter egg for fans, unfortunately you can’t actually buy this vintage-inspired machine."

Meanwhile, others begged for the company to add it 'for real'.

Once you click on the Lumon Terminal Pro, a message reads: "Greetings. We are pleased to bring you a film detailing the art of arranging moving images to elicit an emotional response.

"If during this viewing, you experience feelings of warmth, an increased heart rate or perspiration, do not be alarmed.

"In fact, rejoice! As you have been successfully inspire. Praise Kier."

There is also an option to watch 'how the Apple Original series Severance was edited on Mac'.
