Netflix quietly adds 100% rated binge-worthy series as new season draws closer

Netflix has quietly added all three seasons of a 'phenomenal' TV drama to its catalogue.

As the nights draw in earlier and the temperature drops, what better time to get cosy on the couch and settle into a favorite new TV series?

This 'significantly underrated' series is produced by Game of Thrones' George R.R. Martin, so you just know it's going to be golden.

And as it's just been added to Netflix in its entirety, there's no time like the present to get stuck in.

The show has run for three seasons so far on AMC and AMC+ between 2022 and 2025, with a fourth season on the way early next year.

Set in the 1970s American Southwest, the show follows two officers of the Navajo Tribal Police, Joe Leaphorn (Zahn McClarnon) and Jim Chee (Kiowa Gordon), as they look into a series of seemingly unrelated crimes on the Navajo reservation.

As their investigation takes shape, the pair are forced to confront their own personal traumas and spiritual beliefs.

Jessica Matten, Jenna Elfman, A Martinez, Deanna Tuashi Allison and Noah Emmerich also feature.

The series in question is called Dark Winds, which was added to Netflix earlier this week.

All three seasons have scored a perfect 100 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes.

Of the latest series, critics said: "Dark Winds' third season tests Lieutenant Joe Leaphorn's resolve more than ever before, providing the outstanding Zahn McClaron, with some of his best material yet."

Others described the show as 'binge-worthy,' as one fan wrote: "One of the best police shows on TV today."

"Excellent cast and writing. Suspenseful. Love this show," a second weighed in.

"I binged the first season in three days and moving on to the second one...A must-watch!" another viewer gushed.

The discussion continued over on Reddit, where one fan reckoned the slept-on show is 'significantly underrated'.

"It’s f*****g phenomenal. Seriously, one of the goats," another social media user agreed.

Another, who's been watching since the show's beginning in 2022, expressed hope for a fourth season.

With the third season only just airing in March, fans now don't have much longer to wait until the show's fourth season actually lands.

Its fourth instalment is officially slated to premiere on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 9pm on AMC and AMC+.

All three seasons of Dark Winds are streaming now on Netflix.
