Apple has left its consumers scratching their heads after its latest product launch was revealed.
Now, before you get excited and think this could be a surprise iPhone device drop, it’s not.
It’s something you’ve probably never heard of, nor did you expect Apple to come out and launch it.
Yes, it’s an iPhone Pocket.

According to the tech giant, the product was inspired by the concept, ‘a piece of cloth’, and is a 'singular 3D-knitted construction designed to fully encase the iPhone, while expanding to fit your everyday items'.
This limited-edition collaboration comes after Apple joined the Japanese fashion label Issey Miyake and created the colourful strips of fabric for consumers to wear in a variety of ways.
However, ever since Apple revealed the product to the world yesterday (November 11), fans have been left confused... especially after finding out the price tag.

The longer version of the Pocket, which comes in blue, brown, and black, costs $229.95, while the shorter version is available in orange, yellow, purple, pink, and turquoise for $149.95.
Not only is the concept lost on social media users, but also the price point, and the fact that it’s essentially a ‘sock’ for your iPhone.
One person said on X: “Apple selling a $230 iPhone sock was not on my bingo card.”
Another joked: “iPhone Pocket $150 Your gym sock $0.15.”
Someone else said: “I don't know about you guys but this looks like an April Fool's joke. This iPhone Pocket, is literally a sock and they are calling it limited edition. It costs $230.”
However, not everyone is turned off by the concept, as some think it’s a great and trendy idea.

An online user wrote: “These Issey ‘socks’ for iPhone are so cute! Lovely nod to the past too.”
Someone else agreed, writing: “Which iPhone sock should I buy?”
As for how to use it, here’s what Apple’s product description reads: “When stretched, the open textile subtly reveals its contents and allows you to peek at your iPhone display.”
“Born out of the idea of creating an additional pocket, while also being playful and versatile, iPhone Pocket is available in a short strap length (in eight colors), and a long strap length (in three colors), suitable for a variety of wearing styles such as handholding, tying onto bags, or wearing directly on your body.”
Honestly, it could be a cool little bag to wear to events or around the house.
