Russell Brand has been charged with two further sexual offenses, including rape, police have confirmed.
Police have been investigating the actor and comedian, 50, following an explosive documentary and investigation by Channel 4's Dispatches and The Sunday Times, in which several women accused him of sexual misconduct.
Brand was previously charged with two counts of rape, one count of indecent assault, and two counts of sexual assault in relation to offenses which are alleged to have happened between 1999 and 2005, and involving four women.

He denied the charges at Southwark Crown Court earlier this year.
Now, the Metropolitan Police and the Crown Prosecution Service have confirmed that Brand has been charged with two more sexual offences, including one count of rape and one count of sexual assault in relation to two women, with the charges relating to offenses alleged to have taken place in 2009.

A hearing for Brand has been scheduled at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on January 20 2026, for the alleged offenses.
Brand has not yet entered a plea in relation to the new offenses.
Detective Chief Inspector Tariq Farooqi, from the Metropolitan Police, is leading the investigation and said: "The women who have made reports, including those connected to the two new charges, continue to receive support from specially trained officers.
"The Met’s investigation remains ongoing, and detectives urge anyone affected by this case, or anyone with information, to come forward and speak with police."
The 50-year-old previously denied the charges relating to the allegations from between 1999 and 2005, and a trial has been scheduled to begin at Southwark Crown Court in relation to these charges.
Brand, who is from Oxfordshire in the UK, was accused of raping a woman in a hotel room, the court heard in May.
The woman had been attending the Labour Party Conference in Bournemouth.
He has also been accused of grabbing a TV worker's breasts and orally raping her after dragging her into a men's toilet.

The comedian has also been accused of indecently assaulting another woman, including allegedly grabbing her forearm and trying to drag her into a men's toilet.
Brand has pleaded not guilty to the charges relating to the alleged offenses between 1999 and 2005.
In a statement posted to his social media followers in April, he said: "Me, I’ve always told you guys that when I was young and single, before I had my wife and family… I was a fool man.
"I was a fool before I lived in the light of the lord. I was a drug addict, a sex addict and an imbecile, but what I never was, was a rapist. I've never engaged in non consensual activity. I pray that you can see that by looking in my eyes. I want to thank all of your for your continuing support."
