Israel said it had identified missiles launched from Iran more than two hours after a ceasefire began on Tuesday (June 24).
The latest barrage came after Israel and Iran accepted a ceasefire plan proposed by US President Donald Trump to end their 12-day conflict that rocked the Middle East, after Tehran launched a retaliatory limited missile attack on a US military base in Qatar.
The acceptance of the deal by both sides came after Tehran launched an onslaught of missiles targeting Israel that killed at least four people early on Tuesday morning, while Israel launched a blitz of airstrikes targeting sites across Iran before dawn.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel had agreed to a bilateral ceasefire with Iran in co-ordination with President Trump.

Netanyahu said that he had reported to Israel’s security cabinet on Monday night that Israel had achieved all of its goals in the 12-day operation against Iran, including removing the threat of Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programmes.
Israel also damaged Iran’s military leadership and several government sites and achieved control over Tehran’s skies, Netanyahu said.

"Israel will respond forcefully to any violation of the ceasefire," Netanyahu said.
The reported end to the brief ceasefire comes after Trump pleaded with both Iran and Israel to 'not violate it'. Elsewhere, he shared his hopes that the truce would be 'forever' and that he strongly believed that the war between them was over.
"I don’t believe they will ever be shooting at each other again," Trump added.

Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz has issued a statement in the wake of Iran allegedly breaking the ceasefire, and said that he has ordered the Israel Defense Forces to 'respond forcefully to Iran's violation of the ceasefire with intense strikes against regime targets in the heart of Tehran', BBC reports.
Per CNN, Israel has since claimed that it intercepted the two missiles, so it's unclear if the strike caused any further damage.
Iranian state media has denied reports that they fired a missile at Israel after the ceasefire was in place.

Pre-armistice, Iran sent an influx of missiles Israel's way just before dawn. The strike killed four people and injured 20 others, Israel’s Magen David Adom rescue services said.
The barrage damaged at least three densely packed residential buildings in the city of Beersheba, police said.
First responders said they retrieved four bodies from one building and were searching for more.
