One of Baba Vanga's chilling 2025 predictions 'comes true' amid warning of humanity's toughest year yet

The mystic seer predicted 2025 would be a tough year for us all

A psychic who died almost 30 years ago made some chilling predictions for 2025, one of which appears to have come true already.

The blind Bulgarian mystic, Baba Vanga, born Vangelia Pandeva Gushterova in 1911, made some eerie claims for the future before her death at the age of 84 in 1996, which includes marking 2025 as a particularly challenging year for the human race.

Baba had an scarily accurate knack for 'seeing' what is yet to come, with some predictions actually appearing to have come true in recent years.

This includes 9/11, the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami, the death of Princess Diana, Barack Obama becoming US President, and even her own date of death, amongst some other major worldly events.

However, one prediction which involves Mother Nature appears to have come true this year, too.

Baba reportedly said there would be a series of devastating earthquakes and natural disasters throughout 2025, including an earthquake along the US West Coast, which will result in a catastrophic loss of human life, provoke mass displacement, and destroy homes and infrastructure.

It's worth noting we have already endured one of the most destructive wildfires in Californian history this year, as 14 fires tore through Los Angeles for some 24 days in January and took the lives of at least 29 people.

Meanwhile, according to the the United States Geological Survey, there have been 37 'significant earthquakes' this year so far, which are determined by a combination of the earthquake's magnitude, PAGER alert levels and the number of responses.

One of the most catastrophic has been the Myanmar earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 that struck on Friday (March 28) and extended into neighboring Thailand.

It saw roads, bridges, and buildings collapse while killing more than 2,700 people, though the local authorities expect the death toll with rise in the coming days.

At least 20 people have also been confirmed dead in Bangkok while 70 people are also believed to be trapped in the rubble of a high-rise in the capital city, according to the BBC.

Myanmar's military leadership has since announced a week of national mourning and the UN is continuing to appeal for funds to support the region through the humanitarian crisis.

According to the USGS, Myanmar has experienced several large slip earthquakes over the years, with six other magnitude 7 or larger taking place since 1990.

The disaster comes as 126 people were killed and 188 others injures after a 7.1-magnitude quake struck in Tibet in January, as reported by CNN, which saw tremors across the Himalayas and neighboring Nepal, Bhutan and parts of northern India.

Several others prompted a Tsunami warning but passed without major incident, including a 7.6 quake that shook the the Caribbean Sea near the Cayman Islands on February 8 - and another 7.0-magnitude that struck the South Pacific Ocean on Monday (March 31) which posed a 'Tsunami threat' for Tonga, reports AP.

Meanwhile in the US, Nevada was hit with four earthquakes over the weekend - though settled at a magnitude of no higher than 4.0.

As for what else Baba forecast for 2025, the clairvoyant predicted Europe would become engulfed in war, while Russia will 'dominate the world,' and humans will master telepathy and aliens will contact Earth - at a major sporting event no less.

In some good news, she said an F1 racer will make history with Ferrari, so Lewis Hamilton might be the only one to breathe a sigh of relief this year.
