If you're traveling to or from New York today or in the near future, you'll want to keep an eye out for any updates from your airline.
Over the past couple of days, New York and other parts of the US have been hit with a huge snow storm.
A weather alert was issued after Christmas that affected 60,000,000 Americans. Areas such as Broome, Cortland, Chenango, Ostego and Delaware, as well as Tioga, Tompkins, and Susquehanna were urged to brace themselves for sleet and heavy snow.
New York City was also on the list of places urged to prepare for heavy snow and some parts of the Big Apple and its surrounding areas have since been hit with anywhere between four to ten inches of snow, says LBC.

The last time the city experienced heavy snowfall was in 2022, when eight inches of snow fell in Central Park.
With the weather conditions in mind, those traveling in and out of New York have been warned about disruptions to travel. As many as 9,000 flights have been canceled or delayed since Friday (December 26).
Newark Liberty International, John F Kennedy International, and LaGuardia airports have posted snow warnings on the social media.
A tweet shared to the JFK Airport Twitter page yesterday read: "Forecasted weather conditions may cause JFK Airport flight disruptions. Please check with your airline to determine the status of your flight."
Governor Kathy Hochul declared a state of emergency on Boxing Day with the snow storms in mind.

Per her website, the emergency was declared in: Albany, Bronx, Broome, Cayuga, Chenango, Columbia, Cortland, Delaware, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Herkimer, Kings, Madison, Montgomery, Nassau, New York, Oneida, Onondaga, Orange, Oswego, Otsego, Putnam, Queens, Richmond, Rockland, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Sullivan, Rensselaer, Suffolk, Ulster, Wayne, Westchester and Contiguous Counties.
Hochul said in a statement posted on Friday: "As widespread snowfall is expected to start in New York City and its surrounding areas this evening, I will declare a State of Emergency to ensure that our agencies and local partners have the resources and tools they need to respond to the storm."
She continued: "The safety of New Yorkers is my top priority, and I continue to urge extreme caution throughout the duration of this storm. Please continue to monitor your local forecast, avoid unnecessary travel and if you must travel, take all necessary precautions to ensure you arrive safely at your destination."
