Kamala Harris had a strong comeback after suggestions that Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson might have a better chance of becoming president than her.
The former Vice President had alluded that she may make another bid for the White House in the future, though she has not decided at present what will come next.
Following her defeat in the 2024 presidential election, Harris released book 107 Days about the campaign.
The title references the number of days she had to actually run her campaign to challenge Donald Trump, after Joe Biden dropped out of the race at the eleventh hour, following a disastrous start to his re-election campaign.

As a result, Harris had far less time than usual to mount her campaign, and Trump was able to win in all seven swing states - though in many of them, only by a fine margin.
Despite this, Harris alluded that she still wants to do more.

In an interview with the BBC, she said: "I am not done, I've not decided yet what I will do in the future beyond what I am doing right now."

The former Vice President was then challenged with a poll which said that former professional wrestler turned movie star Dwayne Johnson, had better odds of making it to the White House than her in 2028.
"I think there are all kinds of polls that will tell you a variety of things, I've never listened to polls," she said.
"If I listen to polls I would not have run for my first office or my second office, and I certainly wouldn't be sitting here in this interview."
Other names ahead of her on the list include congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, California Governor Gavin Newsom, and Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump.

Harris had previously aired serious concern about what a second Trump presidency might mean for the US.

In her BBC interview, she alluded to Trump's public spat with satirist Jimmy Kimmel, whose show was temporarily taken off the air after he accused Trump and his allies of exploiting the death of far-right activist, Charlie Kirk, for political gain.
"He said he would weaponize the Department of Justice - and he has done exactly that," said Harris.

"You look at what has happened in terms of how he has weaponized, for example, federal agencies going around after political satirists.
"His skin is so thin he couldn't endure criticism from a joke, and attempted to shut down an entire media organization in the process."
