Donald Trump clashed with a reporter this week after being quizzed on various polls, which suggested Americans are feeling worried about the economy.
President Trump isn't having any of it after it was suggested citizens may not be feeling so great about the current state of the economy as he rubbished the recent stats.
Three-quarters of Americans have said their overall household expenses have increased in the past year, according to a new Harris poll published by The Guardian.
Meanwhile, the same poll found that 55 percent of both Democrats and independents are blaming the Trump administration for the current economic situation, while Republicans are said to be laying the blame on yearly changes caused by inflation.

Despite that, Trump doesn't believe US citizens are worried about the economy, after Fox News Channel's Laura Ingraham asked the president: "Why are people saying they're anxious about the economy?"
"I don't know that they are saying that," Trump immediately responded. "We have the greatest economy we've ever had."
Back in August, Trump claimed in a social media post that there is 'virtually no inflation' in the US.
In reality, inflation is at three percent, one percent above target - and economic experts warn this is only set to increase in the coming months due to the ongoing effects of tariffs.
According to the poll, participants rated inflation as the biggest risk to the US economy.

Following the release of the study, White House spokesperson Kush Desai told the Independent that 'real wages are up and inflation is trending towards a cool and stable 2.3 percent annualized rate since President Trump took office'.
The statement added: "As the Trump administration’s aggressive supply-side agenda continues to take effect, Americans can count on further economic relief from Joe Biden’s inflation crisis – on top of trillions in investments that are pouring in to make and hire in America."
Trump sat down with Fox News as the governmental shutdown continues, which has seen thousands of flights canceled at airports across the country in recent days.
"Life is not so easy for anybody," the POTUS said in response. "Our country has never done better. We should not have had people leaving their job."
