Donald Trump took direct aim at Joe Biden in an early morning Truth Social post after the Democrat made his first public speech since leaving the Oval Office.

Following his departure from the White House in January, Biden appeared on Tuesday (April 15) at the Advocates, Counselors and Representatives for the Disabled conference in Chicago.

During the speech, Biden made reference to restrictions that have been tightened around Social Security payments under Trump's administration, saying: "We also face the constant threat of some members, Republican members of the Congress to cut and gut Social Security - cut and gut it period - they want to let social security expire every five years - that was a proposal - unless re-authorized by the Congress.

"Who the hell do they think they are?"

Biden did not specifically name Trump in his speech, but the current president didn't shy away from making a very direct comment towards his predecessor in a Truth Social post shared this morning (April 16).

In fact, Trump went as far as to declare Biden 'the worst president in the history of the United States'.

Trump used his post to comment on criminal activity in the US - an issue he has recently been attempting to tackle by deporting law-breakers to prisons overseas.

He wrote: "Sleepy Joe Biden, THE WORST PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES, has allowed millions and millions of Criminals, many of them murderers, drug dealers, and people released from prisons and mental institutions from all around the world, to enter our Country through it’s [sic] very dangerous and ill conceived Open Border.

"Sorry, but it’s my job to get these killers and thugs out of here. THAT’S WHAT I GOT ELECTED TO DO. MAGA!"

Trump's post came after he spoke earlier this week about potentially including US citizens in his deportations, with White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt explaining that the president was keen to deport 'violent criminals' who are US citizens 'if there's a legal pathway to do that'.

In another Truth Social post, Trump appeared to hit back at another of his predecessors, Barack Obama, after Obama criticized Trump on his decision to pause $2,300,000,000 in Harvard funding.

Obama showed his support for Harvard, however Trump wrote today that the university had 'lost its way'.

"Harvard has been hiring almost all woke, Radical Left, idiots and “birdbrains” who are only capable of teaching FAILURE to students and so-called “future leaders"," Trump claimed in his post.

"Harvard is a JOKE, teaches Hate and Stupidity, and should no longer receive Federal Funds. Thank you for your attention to this matter!," he added.
