Charlie Kirk's wife Erika has shared footage of the political commentator explaining to their daughter how they first met.
Kirk was killed while speaking at an event organized by his company, Turning Point USA, on Wednesday (September 10) at Utah Valley University.
Authorities appealed for help in identifying the shooter after a suspect was seen on the rooftop of a building on the college campus.
The FBI confirmed on Friday (September 12) that they had detained a suspect identified as 22-year-old Tyler Robinson.

Many have paid their respects to Kirk in recent days, including his widow Erika, who has shared a video of Kirk telling his toddler how her parents met, along with the caption, "… my favorite love story."
In the clip, Kirk can be seen telling the three-year-old: "We're here at Bill's Burgers in New York City. Right near this very table was the first time Dada met Mama.
"It started as a job interview, and I was asking all these questions... Then I realised Mama was beautiful and smart and elegant and Christlike, and so I said, 'Forget this job interview. I want to date you'.”

Speaking over the weekend, Erika vowed to keep her husband's work going by continuing his campus tour, 'The American Come Back Tour', his radio show, and his podcast.
"Our campus tour this fall will continue,” she said. “There will be even more tours in the years to come."
Erika also addressed her husband directly, saying she would 'never let your legacy die'.
"In a world filled with chaos, doubt and uncertainty, my husband’s voice will remain and it will ring out louder and more clearly than ever and his wisdom will endure," she added.

Erika also thanked first responders who 'struggled heroically to save Charles' life', Kirk's staff, and the White House, as well as Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Usha, for bringing home Kirk's coffin.
She also thanked President Donald Trump and his 'amazing friendship' with Kirk, saying: "Mr President, my husband loved you. And he knew that you loved him too."
She went on to say Kirk was killed because he 'preached a message of patriotism, faith and of God’s merciful love'
In an update issued on Monday (September 15), FBI Director Kash Patel detailed a disturbing note that allegedly saw Robinson saying he was going to 'take out' Kirk.

"The note was written before the shooting, it was in the suspect's home," Patel told Fox News.
