Billy Ray Cyrus has only a few words to the woman responsible for a lawsuit making odd claims that she is Miley Cyrus’ biological mother.
While Miley Cyrus should be on top of the world right now after recently making the announcement that she is getting married to boyfriend Maxx Morando, she is now having to deal with more family drama.
An Arizona woman has claimed that she is Cyrus’ biological mother and that the singer’s parents, Billy Ray Cyrus, 64, and Tish Cyrus-Purcell, 58, actually adopted her.
The woman, named Jayme Lee, has claimed that she gave birth to Miley when she was 12 years old and filed a lawsuit back in May, according to a Mail Online report.

The 45-year-old woman argued that she entered into a ‘private adoption agreement’ with Billy Ray and Tish but was ultimately caused ‘severe emotional distress' when Billy Ray allegedly 'misrepresented the circumstances' of the alleged adoption.

She went on to further claim that as part of the agreement she got to name Miley and was set to be her nanny and piano teacher.
Lee also accused the couple of ‘breach of contract fraud and misrepresentation, intentional inflection of emotional distress and unlawful interference with parental rights.'
Billy Ray Cyrus has now addressed these claims and called these allegations by Lee ‘false and absurd’.
Lee amended her lawsuit in June which added further accusations of ‘child abuse and endangerment’ to Miley by making her a public figure and knowingly putting her in the spotlight.
In this filing she also accused the couple of ‘threatening her with police action’ after Miley was born and cut all contact off with her.

In October, a judge denied a request by Lee for a trial who requested a DNA maternity and paternity test of Miley and her parents. Billy Ray and Tish split in 2022 after almost 28 years of marriage.
Billy Ray filed a motion on November 20 to dismiss all of Lee’s claims and the singer’s legal representation claimed that they were ‘clearly brought for the purpose of harassing’ himself and his family on top of ‘needlessly wasting this Court’s time and resources’.
His lawyer also argued that, in line with Tennessee law, it is 'not legally permissible' to adopt a child in the state without obtaining a court order.
Billy Ray's lawyer Chase LanCarte told the Mail that the lawsuit was dismissed on December 5.
He said: "The Court dismissed the lawsuit with prejudice this morning and awarded Mr Cyrus the recovery of his reasonable and necessary attorney's fees and costs."
