A TikToker has revealed what it's like onboard Royal Caribbean's nine-month round-the-world cruise.

Amike Oosthuizen first announced she would be setting sail in November last year and since setting off with Royal Caribbean, she's opened up to followers on social media about what the experience has been like so far. Prepare to be wowed:

The cruise is the Ultimate World Cruise 'never-before-offered' by Royal Caribbean and it took off for its 274-night journey around the globe on December 10 2023 and is set to return on September 10 2024.

In one video Amike explains it was her father's idea to come on the cruise - her dad wanting to do the trip when he retired.

So far, Amike has travelled to areas such as Caribbean islands Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire and the Bahamas.

However, as well as sharing videos of herself exploring places on land whenever the cruise stops off, the TikToker has also shared plenty of content from onboard the ship too.

And a video of how she celebrated her birthday gives an amazing insight into just how many things there are to do - although the trip definitely has a price tag to match.

If that's only breakfast, count me in.

First off, for the fitness fanatics out there who can't skip leg day, fret not, because there's a seriously good gym space onboard the boat.

The video also gives an insight into the cruise's amazing theatre space, as well as epic food options - the cake and also buffet breakfast looking drool-worthy.

Oh and if you get bored of being cooked for - not likely, but it is nine months after all - then you can get your hands dirty and get involved in a sushi making class.

And if that wasn't exciting enough already, you get crowned with a mini chef's hat too.

There's even cooking classes.

On Christmas Eve, Amike gave followers an insight into the ship's main stylish restaurant, amazing three-course dinner with a holiday-themed menu and glamorous ballroom for post-dinner dancing.

And she even got to see The Grinch at the onboard cinema too.

With a Chef's Table option of a six course dinner as well rock climbing, a series of shops and a pickle ball court - the cruise has well and truly thought of everything.

And people are flooding to Amike's TikTok page in absolute awe.

One user wrote: "Living vicariously through all your videos!!!"

"U have to tell us what u payed sorry lol," another added.

To which Amike replied: "$53,999 per person-$105,839 per person! So depends."

Indeed, as per Royal Caribbean's website, the lowest starting price is listed as $53,999 and the highest goes up to $105,839.

But with many cruise-lovers arguing it's actually cheaper to live onboard one of the boats than pay bills and rent, well, maybe it's worth a try. What do you think?
