Netflix viewers call out the 'exact moment' they knew Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson was ‘staged’

Netflix viewers call out the 'exact moment' they knew Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson was ‘staged’

Many people have questioned if the boxing match was 'rigged'

Many questions have been raised about Jake Paul's fight against Mike Tyson and if it was staged or not.

On the day of the match, a so-called 'script' was leaked online that seemingly outlined the outcome of the high profile fight.

In the documentation, it broke down the first few rounds of the fight and suggested that it had been fixed for Paul to knock out Tyson in Round 5.

This wasn't the case though, and Tyson survived all eight scheduled rounds. Paul went on to win on points with the judges scoring 80-72, 79-73 and 79-73 in favor of the YouTuber-turned-boxer.

In a post-match interview, Paul suggested that he went easy on his 58-year-old opponent.

Answering a question about if he took his foot off the gas in later rounds, Paul said: "Yeah, definitely, definitely a bit. I wanted to give the fans a show, but I didn’t want [to hurt him]."

But some fans think it was actually Tyson who held back and believe they spotted the exact moment he seemingly forgot to do so.

The moment in question was when the 58-year-old boxing legend landed a clean jab to the side of Paul's face, causing him to stagger backwards.

Some Netflix viewers think that was the real Iron Mike Tyson coming through.

"Mike still got it in him," someone said on Twitter, alongside a slow motion replay of one of Tyson's 18 punches.

"Mike was holding back," another person replied to the clip.

"He could of slammed Jake. Even in training you can see the power. He just held back because the contract had to have Jake winning."

Echoing similar sentiments, a different person added: "The fight was rigged. Have you not seen his training videos?"

Someone else suggested: "The young Mike Tyson would have gotten three or four shots off. Perhaps there was a clause not to knock out Paul."

However, other people argued that Tyson was simply too tired to keep landing shots like the one in question.

"The first round was mikes, but after that he was winded," viewer argued.

"Can we be realistic. The man is done," said another.

But Tyson isn't done and called out Logan Paul as his next opponent.

"You got more in you, who crosses the mind?" he was asked after the fight.

Tyson replied: "Oh, I don't know. Maybe [Jake's] brother."

Taken aback by the suggestion, Logan said he'd 'kill' Tyson in the ring.
