In a bizarre chain of events, Vladimir Putin allegedly took his famous ‘poop suitcase’ when meeting Donald Trump.

The long-awaited meeting between the two leaders in Alaska on Friday (August 15) will go down in history in more ways than one.

Putin last came face-to-face with the POTUS back in 2019 amid Trump's first term as US president.

Since then, an awful lot of things have happened, most notably Russia's occupation and continued conflict with Ukraine which Trump has long argued against.

Now, it has been revealed that Putin's bodyguards were allegedly seen transporting the Russian leader's infamous 'poop suitcase' to the Alaska summit.

It's not the first time Kremlin officials have been burdened with the grim task either, as reports from the French magazine Paris Match uncovered the nasty reality back in 2017.

Dropping the bombshell in 2022, the investigative journalists stated a person among Putin's cohort is tasked 'with collecting his natural excrement and taking it to Moscow', under the belief that his feces and urine 'contain vital information'.

Agents are reportedly tasked with placing Putin's bodily fluids in dedicated pouches and then into the briefcase while on his trips abroad, 'so as to leave no trace'.

As per The Express US, members of the Russian president's Federal Protection Service (FPS) are said to be responsible for collecting his human waste whenever he travels overseas as part of a rather excessive security measure.

It is believed the process is carried out to stop foreign powers from taking any samples that could give away any information about his health, particularly as rumors about the 72-year-old's condition have spiralled in recent years.

A former BBC journalist, Farida Rustamova, also claimed to become aware of the practice when Putin visited Vienna, during which the Russian leader allegedly had his own portable toilet.

She reported a source had revealed the president has been protecting his poop, so to speak, since he began his leadership in 1999.

Putin raised eyebrows when he appeared to jerk his legs during a press conference in Kazakhstan last year, which some medics claimed appeared to show signs of a neurological condition like Parkinson's disease.

In 2022, the Kremlin further attempted to squash claims that Putin had soiled himself after falling down a flight of steps, as well as refuting claims he had suffered a cardiac arrest in his official residence.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has previously slammed rumors around Putin's health as 'fake news' that 'brings nothing but a smile [in the Kremlin]'.
