President Donald Trump has removed the security personnel assigned to former President Joe Biden's two adult children with 'immediate' effect.

The Security Service is already tasked with guarding 78-year-old Trump's five children, including 18-year-old NYU freshman Barron Trump, and after hearing 18 agents flew to Cape Town, South Africa, to protect a vacationing Hunter Biden, the president had heard enough.

The 55-year-old son of Biden is enjoying a 'luxurious' trip to the African capital, where he has reportedly been staying in a $500-a-night beachfront villa - while bodyguards protecting him would also be put up in apartments paid for by US taxpayers.

Meanwhile, 43-year-old Ashley Biden - the 46th president's daughter - reportedly has 13 agents following her every move.

Now that Biden's term has come to an end his children no longer qualify for Secret Service protection, although he and wife Jill Biden do. According to the Former Presidents Protection Act, only the children of former presidents under the age of 16 do.

However, as one of the Democrat's final moves in charge of the US, he signed off on granting his children six more months of protection from the Secret Service.

Taking to Truth Social, Trump announced that he was to revoking their guardianship.

"Hunter Biden has had Secret Service protection for an extended period of time, all paid for by the United States Taxpayer," he wrote.

"There are as many as 18 people on this Detail, which is ridiculous! He is currently vacationing in, of all places, South Africa, where the Human Rights of people has been strenuously questioned.

"Because of this, South Africa has been taken off our list of Countries receiving Economic and Financial Assistance. Please be advised that, effective immediately, Hunter Biden will no longer receive Secret Service protection."

Before adding: "Likewise, Ashley Biden who has 13 agents will be taken off the list."

However, four years ago Trump himself signed off on Secret Service protection for his four adult children at the time - 47-year-old Donald Trump Jr., 43-year-old Ivanka Trump, 41-year-old Eric Trump, and 31-year-old Tiffany Trump.

It all comes as the president and his 'first buddy' Elon Musk attempt to drastically reduce the federal wage bill.

The Tesla CEO heads up the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), alongside entrepreneur and former Republican presidential candidate, Vivek Ramaswamy.

Their mission is to streamline the US government through plans to axe thousands of jobs and drastically reduce the wage bill, and once they have finished their mission, they have vowed to disband the department - setting a completion date of no later than July 4, 2026... Independence Day next year.
