A new analysis of Donald Trump’s schedule has shown as startling difference in how many times the public saw him in his last term, compared to now.
Trump’s second term has been controversial at best, with many shocking moments throughout the last year he has been in office.
But recently, it seems that a New York Times article has sparked a major reaction from the POTUS and White House, after it claimed that he was feeling the effects of his age, and ‘fatigue’.
In it, it was revealed that Trump’s 2017 schedule was noticeably different than 2025, which appeared to be used as evidence of his declining energy.

The president quickly issued a response to the implications that he’s not fit and well, in a scathing attack on the publisher on social media.

Calling the NYT a 'cheap “RAG”’, he then described the co-writer of the piece, Katie Rogers, ‘a third rate reporter who is ugly, both inside and out’.
The NYT pulled example they believe is proof of his ‘fatigue’, such as when he allegedly fell asleep within 20 minutes of sitting at his desk in the Oval Office while head of Medicare services, former TV host Dr Oz, spoke about lowering the cost of weight loss medications. There were also some other factors they considered.
As per the NYT, it explained that ‘Americans see Mr. Trump less than they used to’.
According to its own analysis of his schedule, it claimed that Trump 'has fewer public events on his schedule and is traveling domestically much less than he did by this point during his first year in office, in 2017, although he is taking more foreign trips’.
It also alleged he ‘keeps a shorter public schedule than he used to’ and that mostly, he prefers to time his public appearances between noon and 5pm.
Then, occasionally, his ‘battery shows signs of wear’, wrote the authors.
It compared Trump’s 2017 scheduled events, which allegedly started at 10:31 am on average, to his later 2025 events, and found he was seen to have help 39 per cent less official appearances in his second term.
In 2017, Trump held 1,688 official events between January 20 and November 25, and during the same dates this year, the Times claims he held 1,029 official events.

Despite the analysis into the POTUS and his energy, he was clear in his Truth Social response that he’s in fighting form.
Trump wrote of his tenure, in part: "To do this requires a lot of Work and Energy, and I have never worked so hard in my life. Yet despite all of this the Radical Left Lunatics in the soon to fold New York Times did a hit piece on me that I am perhaps losing my Energy, despite facts that show the exact opposite. They know this is wrong, as is almost every thing that they write about me, including election results, ALL PURPOSELY NEGATIVE."
