Donald Trump has issued a scathing response after a recently published article claimed the president is showing 'signs of fatigue' and is 'losing his energy'.

The president's health has made headlines ever since he was spotted with a 'large bruise' on his hand earlier this year, which his team seemingly attempted to cover up with what appeared to be a massive amount of makeup.

Trump was also diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), a condition that occurs when your leg veins become damaged and can’t work as they should.

Much has been said about Trump's health and his ability to conduct the job considering he is the oldest president to be inaugurated.

Many media outlets have reported this, including the New York Times, who wrote in a recent piece Trump is showing 'signs of fatigue' and is facing the 'realities of aging in office'.

The president has since issued a response to that, in a scathing attack on the publisher on social media.

"The Creeps at the Failing New York Times are at it again," he wrote. "I won the 2024 Presidential Election in a Landslide, winning all Seven Swing States, the Popular Vote, and the Electoral College by a lot. I won our Nation’s Districts by 2750 to 550, a complete wipeout.

"I settled 8 Wars, have 48 New Stock Market Highs, our Economy is Great, and our Country is RESPECTED AGAIN all over the World, respected like never before. The last Administration had the Highest Inflation in history - I have already brought that down to normal, and prices, including groceries, are coming down."

Trump added: "To do this requires a lot of Work and Energy, and I have never worked so hard in my life. Yet despite all of this the Radical Left Lunatics in the soon to fold New York Times did a hit piece on me that I am perhaps losing my Energy, despite facts that show the exact opposite. They know this is wrong, as is almost every thing that they write about me, including election results, ALL PURPOSELY NEGATIVE."

The president went on to say there will be a day where his energy will run out, but pointed to a recent medical test on how that won't be anytime soon.

The New York Times has since issued a response to Trump's comments, with Charlie Stadtlander, executive director of media relations and communications for the outlet saying: "The Times’s reporting is accurate and built on first-hand reporting of the facts. Name-calling and personal insults don’t change that, nor will our journalists hesitate to cover this administration in the face of intimidation tactics like this.

"Expert and thorough reporters like Katie Rogers exemplify how an independent and free press helps the American people better understand their government and its leaders."
