Police link terrifying TikTok video to 'complete disappearance' of 23-year-old woman

Kada disappeared earlier this month while working at an assisted living facility in Philadelphia

Police are investigating a video that was posted to TikTok, after claims it could be linked to the disappearance of 23-year-old Kada Scott.

Kada disappeared earlier this month while working at an assisted living facility in Philadelphia.

In the clip, a man - who police believe is suspect, 21-year-old Keon King - can be seen looking through a window, before trying to 'gain entry'. The person who shared the footage claimed he was attempting to break in to the property.

King has now been charged with kidnapping and recklessly endangering another person in connection with the 23-year-old 'completely disappearing'.

Scott had been midway through a shift at a residential home when she is reported to have gone missing.

First Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore said: "We need to find Ms. Scott, figure out where she is, what may have happened to her to cause her to completely disappear from all her items, her phone."

Authorities say that Scott was in touch with King before she went missing, although it's not currently clear how they know each other.

"Our evidence is pretty clear that she was in communication with an individual, that individual appears to meet her very shortly after she leaves her place of work, and very shortly after that, she disappears," said Vanore.

Scott also told family that she was being harassed, although it's not known if she was referring to King.

"He did have a previous case. It was a 2025 case for very similar conduct, strangulation and kidnapping," said Assistant District Attorney Ashley Toczylowski.

"That case had been withdrawn by our office based on the witness failing to appear at court. I pulled that file, and after an extensive review of it, our office made the decision to refile those charges."

Following public tips, police were able to locate King's vehicle, which they believe is connected to Scott's case.

The car, which is a 1999 metallic gold Toyota Camry, was located on Wednesday (15 October) in the East Falls area of Philadelphia.

"We believe she may have been in that vehicle," Toczylowski said.

Meanwhile, Vanore added: "We know it's been in Mount Airy. We have photos of it in Center City, we have pictures of it in the Grays Ferry area, and in Southwest Philadelphia. So it's possible that it could be anywhere, it could be outside the city.

"... We are treating this as if Ms. Scott is still alive."

Scott's family have set up a 'verified reward fund' over on GoFundMe.

“I just need her to come home and be safe. That’s what I fear – she’s not safe,” Scott's mom, Kim Matthews told WPVI.
