Since Squid Game's third and final season came out, people have been looking for the next show to binge - and some Netflix users think they’ve found it.
Squid Game has been dominating Netflix since its return to our TV screens in June this year, but with only six episodes, it is quite easy to binge through in a single sitting.
But now that the show has concluded, many have left with a Squid Game-shaped hole in their lives. Thankfully, fans in the Facebook group, Netflix Bangers, have been wracking their brains, and some have suggested this South Korean TV show as a possible contender for your next binge watch.

While the show doesn’t hold quite the same reputation as Squid Game, it currently sits on a solid 75 percent Tomatometer on Rotten Tomatoes, which is usually a good sign.

What show is this? Well, it is called The 8 Show and is a comedy, drama, and thriller all wrapped into one TV show, if you can believe it.
The show’s first (and so far only) season came out in 2024 and focuses on eight individuals all participating in a series of games for a chance to win a large sum.

A slight tweak in the formula, however, is that the contestants earn money for each minute the game goes on, but when it comes to buying basic provisions, they are marked up one hundred times their normal cost.
As you can imagine, tension eventually start to rise as the contestants begin to discover that things aren’t all that they appear to be.
